Can you imagine being a clever and dynamic 5 or 6 year old again? Full of enthusiasm and a new found love of learning because you have just started your FIRST year of school. You walk into your class every morning and are greeted with a smile and personalized hand shake from your teacher. On your desk is your first assignment to start your day. Today, you will learn all about the letter Gg. Instead of seeing purple grapes, green blobs, a bright goldfish, and a big, brown grizzly bear all you see is gray, blurry images.
Research shows that color plays a critical role in early development. An incredible amount of research has been carried out on the effects of color on the brain. Students that are able to see information in color are more engaged, process information more clearly, and can relate information to the real-world easier.
With the purchase of the Epson Color Printer requested, I look forward to opening up my students to a brand new world of colorful learning. This printer will be used to print daily assignments, take home activities, scientific visualization, and other hands on learning materials for daily use. Please help me give my students a color filled learning experience that they deserve.
