My students have gone through so much with the pandemic, not having access to Chromebooks or adequate resources, and not being able to go to the sanctuary of school. I need these items to incorporate the healing nature of art into my projects. This will promote expression and make them more engaged and connected to our lessons while giving them room to express themselves and connect to the content more easily. We are going to use art to study Latinx artists, recreate art, explore our identities, and celebrate lovely Hispanic customs through art.
