Desperate for Technology!
Funded Feb 7, 2012We are so grateful for your generosity, thanks to your contributions we now access our computer daily. We have implemented a schedule that allows for two children a day during independent work time, which is a time allocated for small group intervention, while other children work on various activities or centers ( designated area with an instruction driven activity).
Using our computer has been a fantastic experience, we are now looking forward to utilizing it as a word processor to publish our written work. We hope to do that soon!”

Bringing Native Americans To Life!
Funded May 17, 2011My students and I have been joyously and anxiously awaiting for our materials. The children and I have been planning lessons and activities to execute as soon as our materials arrive. We sincerely appreciate your contributions, support towards our learning goals. We are incredibly lucky that there are many caring individuals who support education. You have made an incredible impact on my students. Many of my students disliked Social Studies, fortunately, now that they've had an opportunity to access this subject area in creatively or in an unconventional way, I can see how my students' vocabulary, reading, writing and knowledge of content have improved. Student have an understanding of all California Natives their customs, art, tradition, beliefs, and how they employed resources withing their region to survive.”
