Because of the pandemic, the students were greatly affected most especially how they see education and its importance to life. They forgot how enjoyable learning is and how their learning will help them in their future endeavor. The materials I chose were for the benefit of the students mentally and socially. They will feel a real science environment where mistakes are welcomed to change and development. They will be inside the room to have fun while learning. Letting them feel that the classroom is an environment for growth and development will affect how they value education. This is the reason why I made this project to promote a more conducive science environment and being hopeful that each student will be successful along with the Nevada Academic Content Standards like P.PK.3 with an objective of: Explore what happens to objects in relation to other forces (e.g., magnets, gravity, and water). The decorations will be utilized to make the classroom more engaging to learning. The models, solar system, and magnetism set will be used to strengthen the mastery of the lesson. Being able to do hands-on activities will help the students to learn more while having fun. The printer will also help me and the students to have access to worksheets after doing some simulations or experiments. The whiteboard will be used for the active participation of students during class discussions. Students have multiple intelligences. Some of them have more confidence in writing their thoughts rather than sharing them verbally. This project will surely benefit the students and the teacher as well.
