In my project I have included a classroom set of whiteboards, calculators, and folders. (which they get to keep) The whiteboards will enhance how students see, understand, and most importantly INTERACT with the lesson. The calculators are a basic that every student should have access to when in school, especially during math class. The folders will support all of my students with organization. I envision that their folders will be where they keep newsletters, notices, and the occasional homework assignments. In my project, I have also included a plain timer and electrical pencil sharpener that will be shared with my class. The timer is essential to keeping the students, and myself, on time to ensure that we cover most of the content for each day. The electrical pencil sharpener is also essential to our class because.... well, its math! Lastly, I have also included a variety of healthy snacks in my project. Just like you and I, students also have a hard time focusing on an empty stomach. Therefor, I occasionally buy healthy snacks in bulk to share with students. I truly don't mind doing so but the cost of doing so quickly rises.
