As a first year teacher, the materials in my project will help me better prepare engaging content for my students. Students will benefit from a wide variety of different manipulatives that can be used in a Soft Start setting at the beginning of the day. The science, math, and reading tools will help students practice and enhance their skills in a meaningful and engaging way! I am a firm believer that my group of students will benefit from utilizing these tools in different settings. It can be difficult to have everything figured during the first year of teaching. However, I am still learning that being prepared and organized makes it easier to adjust to any changes or challenges that may come my way. I think it's crucial to have the proper tools in order to complete the endless and important tasks that teachers work so hard to accomplish on a daily basis. I also incorporated a set of different books that I know my students will thoroughly enjoy!
