  • Money and Math Manipulatives to Build a Solid Foundation!

    Funded Dec 31, 2024

I’m so grateful to hear that you thought of my first grade classroom to help! The students will be so excited to hear that they will have new supplies for learning. I truly feel these will help make our financial literacy unit run smoothly and make for more applications of what we are learning. Thank you, again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Clancy

  • Classroom Community

    Funded Dec 4, 2023

The tools you provided with your generous donation allowed our class to finish off the year strong.

Building a strong sense of communities in a classroom involves lots of positive reinforcement, modeling desired behaviors and praising students who remain on task and are hitting these goals. In doing this, the other students strive to hit those goals as well...especially if there is a prize box involved! They get so excited to have their punch card filled up and be able to visit the prize box. These students WANT to hear how amazing they are. They need love. It's not really about the little goodies, although they certainly help!

Thank you for being so kind and helping my class. They truly couldn't believe it all came from someone who had never met them. It meant so much to them!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Clancy

  • Flexible Seating Creates a Flexible Brain!

    Funded Oct 23, 2023

Having flexible seating options in our classroom has been so exciting for the students! They love the stools and all have a favorite color they love to sit on. The stools make them more excited to come to small groups and they say they are very comfortable.

When I told the class that the seating was donated by people who have never met them, they just couldn't believe anyone would do that. They were so grateful for the gift and have vowed to take good care of them. That you for giving my students options!”

  • A Rug Brings a Classroom of Students Together!

    Funded Oct 23, 2023

It is so hard to describe just how much something as simple as a rug means to primary grades. It is a sense of security, a sense of community...a place for everyone to gather and share their thoughts without judgment. A rug is somewhere where not only academic learning happens, but more importantly, social/emotional learning. The students learn and interact from and with their peers. Their peers model good behaviors for those struggling to achieve it. A rug is so much more than a rug.

We share items from home, events from the weekend, and are introduced to new skills...all while in a close setting. It allows me to whisper and still be heard. Thank you so much for allowing my students this invaluable time together!”

  • Creative Writing Starts Young!

    Funded Oct 23, 2023

My students work weekly in their journals. To watch their progress has been amazing. I can't wait to see their parents reactions when they look at how far they have come from January to June. They are working so hard to apply the phonics skills learned in class to their writing.

As their skill progress, their confidence grows! We are working on "bumping up" our writing and adding more details to both our writing and our pictures. We are working on our stamina and adding a little more each month so we are ready for 2nd grade in just 5 short months!

Thank you for helping us reach our goal!”

  • Hands on Manipulatives for Reading and Spelling!

    Funded Jan 1, 2022

All I can say right now is WOW! You all have made our learning dreams come true. I can’t wait to show these new materials to my students! Thank you for donating to help kids you have never met. You are truly amazing!

Again, THANK YOU so much for supporting our class!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Clancy
