  • A Great Place to Work... On!

    The kids loved the reading sitting places. Thanks to them I was able to establish an incentive system where when the kids finished with their work, they would go and sit in the special reading area and read a book. Afterward, they would need to write or talk about it, but they did not mind it because they were able to sit there. You helped my kids find love for reading in new ways and they learned that reading can be fun and can be done in different ways. Even the kids that would never pick up a book of their own free will now want to start reading just so they can sit in the special seats. You have made a huge difference.”

Every day, my students come to the school ready to learn and share experiences. As we know, their academic learning is as important as their Social-Emotional Learning. By providing these comfy floor seats, my students will fall in love with their classroom. They will want to use them to read, work in groups or simply get them for a school day as a prize for a high grade. By having these seats as incentives, my students will work hard to have the opportunity to use them and they will also see their classroom as a fun, safe place to learn, share, laugh, and LIVE.

About my class
