In this crazy year of Covid and Distance Education, I can't even explain how important resources like good have been! Educators have had to adapt our entire curriculum and made it accessible to anyone and anywhere. This has been a challenge to say the least. Thanks to you, your generosity, and your support of educators, I have been able to not only survive but thrive in this year of change. I have been able to offer my students a quality education from afar and they have been able to stay on track for the next grade. As students are returning they are often confused and lack skills to help them develop positive relationships. With your donation to this project, I will be able to pay for books that can help kids work through their feelings about covid, distance learning and returning to our new normal. These titles are all SEL. Social and emotional learning (SEL) is an integral part of education and human development. SEL is the process through which all young people and adults acquire and apply the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities, manage emotions and achieve personal and collective goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain supportive relationships, and make responsible and caring decisions. Thank you for your support!
