The materials and supplies that I am requesting may seem small or insufficient to others but will make a big difference in my classroom. These materials will be used to to enhance my students learning experience while also fostering independence in them. I plan to use these materials as independent activities to do during carpet time. I also plan to use these materials while pulling small groups to enhance my students knowledge of all things phonics. The magnetic letters will be used to help my students learn and remember their letter names and sounds. Having a hands-on magnetic board to pair with the magnetic letters will aide my students in having a hands-on experience while learning about their letter names and sounds. The bins will be used to store all of these activities so that they are readily attainable by all of my students. The sight word bingo will make learning about sight words more fun for me students. Being able to recognize sight words is a key component of being able to read so turning sight words into a fun game will be very beneficial for my students. Having hands-on and exciting activities makes learning more enjoyable for all!
