  • Writing Power

    Funded Sep 19, 2024

AMAZING! Thank you so much for your support and help in funding our project, "Writing Power". We cannot stress enough how important your donation is to us. Your support is helping us achieve our goals and make a difference in the lives of our students and community. Without your help, we could not provide our students with the same education and opportunities.

My students are visual learners, so color-coding assignments can help them identify relationships between concepts, strengthen their understanding of lessons, make stronger mental associations, and improve their ability to recall information.

Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and generosity. Your donation will make a lasting impact on the lives of our students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zapata

Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and generosity. Your donation will make a lasting impact on the lives of our students and community.

Thank you for trusting us, educators, to provide the best for our students. It is wonderful to know there are still people and organizations that believe in the power of education."”

  • Stay Organized

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

Wow! Thank you so much for your support and help in funding our project "Stay Organized". Students who qualify for dyslexia lab services can stay with me for over two or three years. Students were ecstatic to hear they would be able to replace their old used binders this year. When we returned this school year we also noticed some rings on the binders had rusted, therefore this funded project was a blessing for myself and my students. Thank you once again for your generous donations and continued support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zapata

  • Staying Organized

    Funded Jan 28, 2024

With tremendous gratitude and appreciation, I submit this impact letter to my donors for their generous donation to our classroom project. These binders and timers have had such an incredible impact on my students. With their binders in hand, my students come to class ready and eager to learn. Students know where to place each assignment from individual subjects. Students like how everything in class and their binders are organized and color-coded for easy access.

This inspires me to continue touching lives, and I am overjoyed that your donation helped this moment happen.

    Thank you for your donations.”

  • Flexible Seating

    Funded Oct 28, 2023

I am beyond grateful for the amazing and generous donation to our classroom project "Flexible Seating". My students were so delighted when the packages were delivered to the classroom, that they eagerly volunteered to help inflate the bouncy balls.

Students sit in regular chairs all day long in their regular classroom, but when they come into my classroom they have the option to switch the chair for a bouncy ball. These bouncy balls help my students feel comfortable to reach their full potential during their learning activities.

So once again, thank you for allowing my students to have a choice with flexible seating.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zapata

  • Let's Stay Organized

    Funded Oct 11, 2023

I want to thank you very much for the generous donation to our classroom project "Let's Get Organized". I am so lucky to work with amazing students, and we are all lucky to have wonderful supporters like you. I was able to supply each one of my students with a school box to keep their supplies neatly organized in one place, pencils, erasers, and much more, thanks to you.

I knew that the supplies that I purchased at the beginning of the school year would run out within the first few months of school, so this donation could not have come at a better time.

Thank you for your kind and generous donations! We are very appreciative!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zapata

  • Sound of Learning

    Funded Mar 26, 2023

I would like to share with you the amazing impact the "Sound of Learning" project has had on my students. Most of my students struggle with reading, so when I presented the whisper phones to them they were curious as to what they were for. As I explained what they were for, and how to use them they were beyond ecstatic. Students are able to listen to themselves read and correct themselves when they read something incorrectly. Now, my students really want to read independently, and that to me (a dyslexia teacher) has had the greatest impact of all and it is all thanks to your generous donation.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zapata

  • Reading is Knowledge

    Funded Apr 18, 2023

Thank you so much for your kindhearted and generous donation. I am so excited to have this project funded. Many of my dyslexic students get intimidated when I mention chapter books but this project sure helped my students get over that fear. My students enjoy reading a variety of genres, so getting this project funded has really had a magnificent impact on many of my wonderful students.

You are truly making a difference in my students' education. So, thank you for helping me instill the joy of reading in my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zapata

  • Keep Hunger Away

    Funded Nov 30, 2022

I would like to begin by saying thank you. Your donation to our project "Keep Hunger Away" has really had a great impact on my students.

My wonderful students are beyond grateful for the variety of snacks that were donated to our class project. Some of my students do not get to school during breakfast time so they really appreciate the snacks that are available.

Students with empty stomachs can be distracted during instruction, so a snack can really help them stay focused during the day.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zapata

  • Snacks to Succeed!

    Funded Aug 23, 2022

It is with great gratitude and appreciation that I submit this impact letter to you for your kindness and willingness to give to our project "Snacks to Succeed".

My students were beyond grateful for the snacks that were donated to our project. Some of my students do not get to school on time to enjoy or have their free breakfast therefore, they really enjoy and appreciate the snacks that are available to them in my classroom.

I feel that a student on an empty stomach can be distracted, so a little snack can really help them stay focused on what's important.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zapata

As the second semester rolls around, I would like for my students to have a 3-Ring binder so they can stay organized. Unfortunately, I have seen how some students are not able to bring the necessary school supplies needed to my dyslexia class. I want to do something to help my students and their family with some of the necessary school supplies that they need for this class. My students would benefit from having a 3-Ring Binder to keep all their materials organized. Therefore, I would like your help so my students can acquire these much needed binders so they can stay organized. Please help us make this project a reality. I know my students will appreciate being organized with these binders for the remainder of the school year.
