Literacy is a unique class in that reading is the focal point. The goal is to foster a love of reading for all of my students. My current library in my classroom is small and outdated, which makes it difficult to find something a student might enjoy. These high-interest, engaging novels will allow my students to choose a book that speaks to them as well as improve their reading comprehension and fluency. We complete independent novel book projects and students will be able to use these novels to create interesting and impactful projects.
