ELA Speaking and listening 9-10.1: Prepare for and participate effectively in a range of conversations and collaborations with diverse partners, building on others' ideas and expressing their own clearly and persuasively. This project will help students develop and practice language and social skills. Students will work to communicate while playing games that help build their speaking and listening skills as well as their ability to make an argument. Also, they are encouraged to read, interpret, and follow directions. Finally, they will work in cross-grade level groups to help pass on the culture of the school to students who have just arrived.
