Once students grasp the process of composing music it is important they have a way to record it. In my class the SoundTrap application is utilized so students can record and produce their own compositions. Having a new device with up to date technology will ensure every second counts in the music production process. Students will compose 8-bar cadences inspired by music theory lessons that are taught throughout the course. After several 8-bar cadences have been created students will have a completed musical work that is ready for the audio production process.

About my class
