Thank you so much for your generosity. The students have really been so excited to read their brand new high interest books! Many of them have shared stories with me how they stay in bed under the covers with a light on just so they can read them. The level of enthusiasm that I have seen has been inspirational.

Many of the students have expressed excitement about reading books about topics and themes that they can identify with and they are super happy to see characters in the books look like them.

My girl students especially seem to like the coming of age stories and can make real connections while applying relevant skills as they read.
