Due to COVID, students have been struggling more than ever to complete their handwriting legibly. The year at home was difficult because it was all online and their pencil to paper skills really decreased. They have been used to using technology for the past year and their fine motor skills are not where they should be developmental. These resources will help improve the skills needed to complete their handwriting in class, one of the most important, if not THE most important, skill a student needs to succeed in school. They will make learning fun and promote greater independence in the classroom. I have also seen an increase in self-regulation needs, as students are struggling to stay focused and alert in the classroom. These materials will help promote regulation so that they can have calm bodies and will be ready to learn. Thank you!
