As a social, emotional learning coach, I support students and teachers on their new journey to learn more about their emotions and relationships. These tools will help classroom teachers and students in whole class and small group situations. Teachers are using an SEL curriculum to teach complete group instruction. As a coach, I work with small groups and individuals to reinforce concepts taught in the classroom. My role also allows me to provide support to classroom teachers, which I know is valuable as a former 4th and 5th-grade teacher. I hope these items will help my school to continue on our SEL journey. Specifically these resources will help students to grow in self awareness, interpersonal relationships, problem solving, empathy and more. Because our SEL program is brand new, we need your support to build up our SEL toolbox!!
