These materials would make a difference in learning because my students can explore several ways of learning through play and social interaction. Students will be able to learn utilizing these learning toys, they will learn how to match, make letters in their name, button, tie shoes, and zip. The cars will be used on the carpet during imaginary play. All the items will motivate students to use fine and gross motor skills as well as cognitive play. The information I will be teaching my students with these materials will help them become more understanding in learning and independent with life skills at home. During centers, when we are talking about community and community helpers, on the carpet I can use the cars with the people I already have. When I am doing a thematic unit on certain animals, I can use the animal toys to describe the type of animal, sort them by the farm and animal or fur and no fur. When I am teaching a science lesson we can discover the oil and water color and how it looks mix together. I can use the science blocks to discover the different kinds of objects. Everything I am asking for is used for learning through play. Most of the things I listed were things I lost during Hurricane Ida or I never had them and I see how it is affecting their learning and my growth lessons.
