A classroom rug will create an inviting place for all the students to meet for mini-lessons. It will also be a place where students can read with their reading buddies. The class will be eager to come together on a soft and comfy space where they can feel comfortable and will be able to sit without feeling uncomfortable. The students will be able to focus knowing they are sitting on a comfortable rug and in a safe space. My students are squirmy and having a rug, which will allow them to be more focused!
