Currently, at our school I have over 30 kids who take turns sharing ONE camera. This not only impacts them doing what is assigned to them in class, but it impacts the student body as a whole. It is our absolute pleasure to create our school’s yearbook. We want to freeze time if just for a moment so our students can look back at all they have experienced as young adults. While we are desperately in need of grant funding for these cameras, the most important thing to remember is, you can’t put a price on memories. Those will last forever. This is a book that our students will have for the rest of their lives and our donors could play a major part in that. Nevada Academic Content Standards for Fine Arts encompass five disciplines: Visual Arts, Music, Theater, Dance, and Media Arts, and are predicated on a belief that Artistic Literacy provides students with an ability to create, present, critique, and connect art to their academic studies, lives, and the world around them. Donating to this cause would hits content standard MA:Pr5.7.1 “Exhibit an increasing set of artistic, design, technical, and soft skills through performing various roles in producing and presenting media artworks (for example, creative problem- solving, organizing.” Thank you so much for your time,
