As beginning readers, these hands-on tools will help my students turn their knowledge of sounds and letters into the words they need to be successful readers. Students will work individually and in pairs using the magnetic letters, words and sentence strips to build their phonemic awareness necessary to become strong, confident readers. The leveled readers will provide a variety of accessible reading for every reader in my classroom. These books will provide a print rich environment that I strive to create in my classroom to foster a love of reading.

About my class
