The last time my class was in a normal school setting was Kindergarten. Most of my students are able to read, but are struggling to comprehend and find text evidence. This is a skill that is highly effective but has been adversely affected due to the pandemic.
The tools that I am asking to be funded will provide greater understanding of finding text evidence and a love for reading to assist with building their vocabulary to comprehend text and are necessary to let the students learn through colored coded text and using multi - colored highlighters to organize their text evidence. These kiddos need some hands-on excitement to get them enthusiastic about working again.
