I would love to use the requested materials to build engaging center materials and Brain Bin Activities for my kids to explore. These activities allow time for students to explore their creativity, develop their fine motor skills, collaborate with their peers, and challenge their thinking. A lot of these tools will be used with my math or ELA centers to build creative and engaging activities while they are working on content standards. Many of my students did not have a chance to attend preschool and are lacking in many foundational skills. They need hands-on practice to build skills that they normally come to kindergarten with. With COVID, each child needs individual materials. I am hoping to create actives that will engage my students and provide them opportunities to engage in hands-on activities. K.CC.B.4b: Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities: connect counting to cardinality. Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted. RF.K.3a: Demonstrate basic knowledge of one-to-one letter-sound correspondences by producing the primary or many of the most frequent sounds for each consonant.
