Come Cook with Ms. Granger's Class!
Funded Feb 2, 2022Thank you so very much for donating to my classroom! We have been cooking each week here at school and developed a list of recipes we all wanted to make. Each Thursday we prep an ingredient list that we will need. On Friday we will follow a recipe, set the table, discuss our steps, cook and then clean up together!
When my students first saw the cooking materials they were very excited! They immediately started asking what we would cook and when we could start!
Now that students are on summer vacation, I am
hoping they are practicing what they learned in my class at home. When they return in the fall we will resume our weekly cooking lessons!”

Sensory Materials and a Trampoline!
Funded Oct 11, 2021Thank you so much for funding sensory materials for my classroom! We utilize the trampoline daily for movement breaks and sensory output. The sensory fidget toy set is also used daily. Students were given the option to choose a few fidgets to keep at their desk and use when needed. Additional fidgets are kept in a common teaching area of our classroom and used if a student needs sensory input/output during a lesson.
When my students first saw the materials they were so excited! Our previous trampoline had broke so to have a new one available for students to use meant a lot to them! They were also so happy to have enough fidget toys for each student to keep a few at their desk. These items are readily available for my students to use when they need them.
My students continue to love coming to school and are flourishing after a hard year of mostly remote instruction. We will continue to grow and improve our reading, math, and language skills. The supplies you've donated to my class help provide sensory opportunities and motivation for my students! Thank you!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Granger
