RI3.1, RI3.2, RI3.3, RI3.5, RI3.7, RI3.8 - The Scholastic News will help students with their reading comprehension and fluency of non-fiction. My students have been struggling with nonfiction in assessments due to a lack of availability of non-fiction reading material. RF3.4 The dry erase markers, timers, and headphones will help the students improve in fluency with reading. Our school has a computer phonics program that requires students to use a microphone that my students are lacking. Students time themselves to improve their fluency, and I do not have any timers.
