We Are Prepared to Learn!
Funded Apr 6, 2023Thank you for supplying our classroom with these materials. We have been able to make our space more colorful and bold with the beautiful, bright paper and borders to decorate our classroom bulletin boards. We have certainly made great use of all the mechanical pencils as we started this school year ready to read and write. Finally, the white boards were much needed and have helped us in more ways than we can mention!
Your generosity has truly helped to make our classroom more inviting and ready for learning each and every day. We are so grateful for your support!”

Funded Apr 4, 2022Thank you very much for helping me get good books into my student's hands. We are so excited to be able to read novels of our choice that are relevant to our lives. While we have a curriculum that provides many opportunities for reading, most of the stories are unrelatable for our students. Having received these books has allowed my students to develop a new interest in reading. Each day while we are reading, the students get upset when we get to the stopping point for the day. They have told me several times that they didn't even realize books could be so enjoyable.
Thank you for giving them to opportunity to make this realization as we prepare for summer break. My hope is that with this new discovery, they will look for books over the summer that will provide them with the same level enjoyment.”

Funded Feb 7, 2022Thank you for your generous donation of items which allowed up to create and set up a school store. Our students have able to earn points for displaying positive behavior in and around the school. After an accumulation of points, students have an opportunity to spend their points at the store, purchasing items they choose.
The school store has helped increase positive behavior. Many students have their eyes set on a certain prize that they are working toward. They are so excited when they have an opportunity to shop and walk away with their prize of choice.
Word quickly spread about how "cool" the school store is, encouraging students to do their best to make it.
Thank you for your generosity and for making this a true success for all of us!”

Let's Get Organized!
Funded Oct 11, 2021First off, thank you so much for these resources. We are using the mailboxes and baskets to keep our materials organized. Each student has their own mailbox in which they store their materials from day to day. We have used our baskets to help organize homework, classwork, extra paper, and other materials. This has really helped all of us keep our classroom neat and organized at all times. I have to say, our favorite item is the tennis balls for the bottom of the chairs. Our classroom is so much quieter now and more conducive to learning for us and the classroom underneath ours. This is a true game changer!
The students were thrilled when they arrived and saw the boxes for our project had been delivered. They were as excited to unbox and reveal the items as I was. "It's like Christmas"one of my students was overheard saying to another!
Moving forward, we will continjue to keep organized as we continue to learn this school year and moving forward.”

Mrs. Skelton
