My wonderful 1st-3rd grade students are the bottom 20% of their class. They come to my reading intervention classroom to improve their reading skills in phonological awareness, phonics, and comprehension. My 1st and 2nd graders, this is their first time being in a classroom and the bouncy bands will help keep them in their seats and focused on my small group instruction. My 3rd graders have energy that distracts them from the instruction and the bouncy bands with keep them focused. We are writing on clear pocket protectors and using them as whiteboards and the students use their sleeves to erase their work, the whiteboards and erasers will truly help give my students a solid surface to write on and do their work on.
