These supplies will make this school year and years to come easier for students to function and learn within our classroom. We will be able to create a fun learning environment and be able to interact within our classroom more freely and enjoyable. The florescent light covers will help create a calming blue environment in our classroom. This will help this year and years to come classes have a calming effect to create a more focused learning environment. Our classroom dots will help ensure students have their own area on the carpet during whole group instruction. This will help everyone choose their color and not have to be squished together because they all want the same spot. The mailbox will help keep student papers organized throughout the day and be a great way for students to know they have papers they need to take home. A classroom treasure box for first graders is a great way to have classroom rewards inside that students can earn and choose from to have a positive learning environment. The counting bears will be a fun and creative math manipulative to use during our math lessons and math centers. My students enjoy math manipulatives and these bears will add a bit of fun and option for them to choose which manipulative they would like to use to help them learn the math skills. The lap desks will help create flexible learning environment where students can work on the floor anywhere in the room and be able to have a desk where they can write and not get holes in their paper from writing on the carpet. The headphones will help students stay focused and quiet during small group instruction and keep students around them without getting distracted from the noise.
