Many of my students families have been hit hard by the pandemic this year in through job or income loss. This has meant any excess funds that usually went to school supplies in the past are now going to essentials such as food and other household necessities. The supplies I am requesting for the class will help give my students a sense of normalcy in the classroom by providing the tools they need to participate in math activities and practice in their everyday classroom tasks. By providing pencils, paper, erasers, and headphones to each student, no individual student feels left out by not having supplies. Each student is brought into the classroom at an equal level and each student is prepared for their education each day.
