  • Reading, and Writing, and Small Group, Oh my!

    Funded Jun 21, 2022

Thank you for believing in me as an educator, and helping me provide a positive learning environment for my students. I look forward to having a successful school year with my Kinders thanks to you! They will be able to have a comfortable rug to sit at for morning meetings, an easel for our ELA lessons, and a bookshelf for our library. Thank you for helping make a positive difference in the lives of young learners. We appreciate you tremendously!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Hoffmann

We are required to have 120 minutes of centers daily. Center time is one of the most important times in the day because it encourages students to independently put to work the skills being taught in whole group by the teacher. Center time is my students favorite time of the day because that is when they truly get to explore with their friends. We are a family in Kindergarten, so it is important the setting always has a student who can help one another. I am a first year teacher with limited supplies and funds. I have made everything I am currently using, and it still is not enough. The centers I have picked out can be rotated and used throughout the entire year with the hope to be used year after year. With Title 1 budget cuts, our students would be ever so grateful for some new amazing things to enhance their fun center learning time! Anything helps! Thank you!
