Second, It helps with retaining information and learning how to apply it. Third, It helps my children to learn to problem-solve. Lastly, It is a more engaging and fun way of learning by doing. In my room, we use hands-on materials, such as playdoh, shaving cream, and dry erase boards to form letters, their name, words, and numbers. Proverb: "Tell me, I'll forget; Show me, I'll remember; Involve me, I'll understand."
