As a counselor at an elementary school, I regularly am meeting with students when they are experiencing social, emotional or behavioral challenges. The materials that I am requesting will help my students when they come to my office when they are experiencing tough emotions. I have a "cool down corner" with various items that help the students to regulate their emotions. I tend to give out a majority of my materials to students who need it throughout the day. Often times, I do not get the items back, but I am happy that it helps my students. I regularly need to repurchase these items, such as the sensory toys, as well as the stress balls and aromatherapy material. I make cool down kits for many teachers to keep in their classrooms for students who need a minute to themselves. In the kit, I usually include many coping strategies on paper, and aromatherapy items, which is why I included the essential oil tools on my wishlist. The kids love picking out which scent helps them most during a stressful day. I also facilitate many groups on campus, mostly pertaining to stress and anxiety. The books will greatly help when I teach these groups, and I also push into classrooms for lessons as well, and read the books too. Thank you for your contribution to my project<3
