I am a Special Education teacher in Spokane, Washington. My students come from all different backgrounds, but have one thing in common - a passion and desire to learn. Reading has been a struggle for so many of them, and the learning gap has only continued to grow throughout the pandemic. With this program, my students will learn the tools to be successful in all classes and gain the confidence that they need to be successful at such a vulnerable age. This reading intervention program will allow me to meet the needs of students grades K - 6, give them a pathway to open doors to become lifelong learners.
