Thank you for your generous donations. My students are using their tablets on a daily basis now. The headphones are helpful my students listen to various books on a reading application on their iPads. This reading application is great because it allows my students to read books they enjoy while I can track their reading comprehension progress.
I don't know how many ways I can say thanks for everything you've done for my amazing second graders! You generosity will change the lives of some deserving children.”

Thank you for your generous donations for my second graders! When the boxes began to arrive this week my students faces lit up! They couldn't believe that they were getting so many snack choices! "Tell them thanks! My amazed students shouted!"
Each day this week I have been reminded why your snacks were a blessing. For example: On Wednesday two of my students said they're stomachs were hurting when I asked them if they ate breakfast they replied "no" and looked down at the ground. I told them not to worry and pulled out packets of the Nutri grain bars. After consuming the bars smiles began to appear!
I couldn't wait to write this gratitude letter to let you know how the donation impact my students. I can only imagine the elation when I give my students the Valentines treats!”

Thank you for allowing my students to read authentic books in your reading program! These book buddies and pouches have been amazing! My students love the individual storage of their books! We use these materials on a daily basis!
Wow! That's a big book! (My students reaction!)
When my students saw the red storage pouches today they were amazed at the size. They couldn't believe the first book of our new reading module entitled Buffaloes are Back could fit in the pouch. This curiosity will lead to active engagement and discussion in the days to come!”

It is important that my students read on a daily basis in order to improve their fluency. Many of my students don't have access to books. I send home books from our class library. But, I need to protect the books as they are transported between school at home.
The baggies and storage pouches that I selected are going to allow my students to easily transport their books.
Some of the pouches will be kept in class so my students can organize their books for our reading module called Season of Change.
