  • Feel The Math

    Thank you for your generous donation to the student in my math classes. Because of your efforts and giving my students were able to engage in lessons that included hand on activities that allowed them to feel the mathematical processes. Students were able to talk about their shared experiences and were able to better explain math in detail.

    When my students saw the shipment of materials they were excited but did not understand how it would increase their level of understanding. They were very inquisitive.

Students in Washington D.C. need more STEM experiences. My current students have been learning the principles of geometry in theory, viewing from textbooks or video screens. The geometric boards and three dimensional figures will allow them to physically see the concepts being taught. Many of my students are kinesthetic learners and need tangible items to help them solve the mysteries of math and more specifically geometry. Through the use of the intended materials students will be able to better understand and further explore the stem field which is paramount to the future success.

About my class
