My students have faced many struggles with the year due to Covid. They have had struggles at home and had to deal with distance learning. Many of their families have struggled with sickness, joblessness, and uncertainty as well. Despite this, they have weathered the storm and come to school with bright, positive attitudes. My students need things to take some stress out of their lives. One of the things they really love is dodgeball. It is one of their favorite PE games and we play it every week. The game teaches them teamwork and gives them a chance to just be a kid for a while. We also desperately need a classroom projector. The projector in our classroom barely works and is hard to see even with the lights off. They struggle with enough things in their lives right now. Seeing the lesson shouldn't be one of them. Please help our class remove some of the stress in their lives by funding this project. It will address TWO Nevada Academic Content Standards. PE standard 1.5.1 Utilize locomotor and non-locomotor movements in physical activities, and Computer Science skill 5.CS.T.1 Determine potential solutions to solve simple hardware and software problems using common troubleshooting strategies. Thank you for supporting my students!
