This project will promote hands on activities in STEM. We will be making volcanoes and rockets as well as creating using water bottles and other supplies to use our knowledge and skills in STEM. STEM has been forgotten during the pandemic and I would love to bring it back to the classroom. My students are eager to begin hands on activities to promote awareness in different STEM careers including being a scientist. We will use the backpacks to store our equipment and keep them safe. We will learn about STEM careers and be able to use hands on activities to build rockets, volcanoes and marble runs. STEM offers an approach to education that integrates college and career readiness, while preparing students for their lives beyond the classroom. Learning how to investigate and explore as well as bring forth inquiry driven lessons to promote varies STEM activities. An inquiry-driven lesson that sparks student curiosity is one that will provide the best learning opportunity. My role is to allow my students to be critical thinkers by asking good questions, and observe as well as explore. I would love to bring STEM into the classroom.
