Bye Bye Germs!
Funded Jan 17, 2024Thank you so much for your contributions to my students. We have already gone through some of the tissues purchased and I am so glad to be able to quickly provide more tissues when needed! We use the disinfectant wipes daily between student sessions to keep everyone healthy and the the gloves really come in handy for that! The paper towels are exactly what we needed too!
Thank you so much for helping provide what are (I feel) basic classroom necessities during the school day! Children deserve a clean and healthy environment for learning!”

Funded Sep 24, 2023Thank you so much for these items. Financial literacy is so important at any age but the younger we start the better!
The students love the money bingo game and it is a great way for us to teach financial literacy. I noticed that students really did not even know the names of the coins and wanted to try and add in components of these skills to our therapy sessions.
The headphones also really help block out the noise in the room when we have a lot of students working in the therapy room at once.
As always, your contributions to our students mean the world to us!”

Funded Sep 8, 2023We have received our supplies and already put them to good use! Our new tissues are a therapy room staple and the kids love having a box easily accessible for them so they can use it as they need. Since most students at my school are on the lunch program, I really don't like asking families for any supplies so even something as "small" as tissues makes a HUGE impact!
The new Easel is INCREDIBLE! When I tell you I feel like it is the top of the line I am not kidding! Up until now I have used whatever easel I could find around the school building and they were usually in less than perfect condition, to put it nicely. The base of this one is smaller, which makes my tiny therapy space look and feel huge to me and my students. It also has wheels so it can be moved around easily- GAME CHANGER!
The dry erase markers are also so great! These Crayola brand are a huge upgrade from the Expo ones I usually am given and they write and erase so smoothly and without leaving any residue.
If you ever doubted how much of an impact your donation made please know that every time I use any item that was funded through donors choose, I am so so thankful for donors like you!”

Funded May 15, 2023Thank you so much for your incredible donation to my students. We are so excited about the new Handwriting without tears materials which will help us reach our goals for this year!
We were desperately in need of new Handwriting without tears Mats and wooden blocks to practice creating letters. We also are already putting our sharpener to good use to transfer those letter writing skills with pencil and paper!
Cannot wait to see what this new year brings for all of us and I know these supplies will help us!”

My students and I love having good functioning expo markers in different bright colors which helps make learning our letters fun and colorful! The obstacle course brings so much fun to our sessions and helps develop important skills. We also love using the 'rapper snapper' fidgets!

Fine Motor Fun
Funded Nov 2, 2021Thank you so much for your generous donations. We are working hard here in our OT room improving our fine motor skills thanks to all the fun new games you provided. When my students first saw each game they were so excited and now they even request that we use these new supplies! A new favorite item are the letter eggs. It takes a "boring" activity like reviewing letter names and letter formation to a whole new fun level. My students are engaged, having fun and strengthening these skills all because of you!”

iPad for My OT Students
Funded Oct 12, 2021I need to express my sincerest thank you for helping my student and I reach our goal. Our new iPad is helping our students with their letter formation as well as visual spatial skills. Their eyes light up when we 'play' educational games on the iPad to help them develop these skills! Even the toughest critics are suddenly engaged in their learning!
We also love using the iPad for movement breaks to get our wiggles out when needed and to help keep track of time With a visual timer (for my students who are visual learners).
The way this new technology has enhanced my therapy practice is truly unmatched and I will forever be grateful to you.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Shoshana
