• Hydration Is Key

  The Hydration Is Key Project truly had a positive impact on students learning. This project aided students in a time when water wasn't safe to drink in the city of Jackson.

  The project also afforded the students to not only have water but also allowed they to have cool or cold water because of the mini refrigerators.

  Learning and instructions were able to continue if students became thirsty. We thank our donors for providing water and other treats to help keep students hydrated and learning focused!”

• Lamination Station

  Funded Mar 23, 2022

  This project has had a huge impact by saying me time. Instead of leaving school at the end of the day to run to the teacher resource center, I can spend time preparing for the next day.

  It has allowed the students to help me laminate their work for boards for the hall and classroom projects. The lamination station is used daily to assist with the focus wall, student projects and portfolios, and display boards in the hallways and cafeteria.

• Making Educational Copies Which Will Transfer the Lives of Students

  Funded Nov 22, 2021

  Having a copier in the classroom has made making educational copies a simple breeze. Before the copier, I would turn in a copy slip and items to be copied, to the office. There was a problem with this procedure because students would occasionally need an extra copy. If this occurs now, the student will simply go to the copier and make a copy.

  The copier has become most exciting for the students to have because now they can print out their reports, class notes, and assignments. Before we had the copier, students would email the things which needed to be copied to me and I would print them out at home. A lot of ink was being used. They now are able to responsibly print their own work. They may print work for my class or for another teacher's class.

  Many students are especially excited to have quick access to print and they do not need to wait on me to print their materials out and bring them back to school. They can immediately get their finished product to put in their folder.”
