Engaged Learning
Funded Nov 5, 2023My students have loved the squishy toys that are now apart of the treasure chest for rewards. They try really hard to be on their best behavior so they can earn treasure box and other incentive coupons.
They can't wait to do a glow day reading activity as well with the black lights and all the fun glow day materials.
We are also hoping to do a breakout activity for a review for SBAC practice. The locks will be great for that! Thank you so much for everything!!! The chairs ended up being a little small, but they can be used for other things too!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Nevada Department of Education.Helping Small Hands with Big Hearts Achieve their Goals!
Funded Oct 4, 2021My students were so excited when they saw the packages and all of the new things for them to be able to use to learn! The flexible seating at my small group reading table has been amazing! Students are excited to come to small and intervention groups for reading and math! They also love the manipulatives which give them the much needed hands-on learning! I've already used them many times and I can see how the children's understanding is growing.
The cubby cabinet and drawer organizer have been most helpful with keeping the classroom organized. As well as the light filters have created a calming atmosphere which is so beneficial for my students with special needs. In addition, the privacy folders have been very helpful to my students when they are taking tests or when they just need to be able to focus better without distractions.
All of my students really enjoy the kerplunk set and incentives! They are being used on a daily basis and are greatly helping out with keeping my students on track with their behavior and enthusiasm for learning.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Caringal
