New Monitor to Support Students
Funded Nov 7, 2023Words cannot express our gratitude for your incredible gift of a new monitor! Your generosity has illuminated not only our work, but the minds and imaginations of our students. I'm writing to share with you, firsthand, how this technology is transforming their learning experiences.
Many of you, accustomed to home technology, might wonder how it translates to the classroom. Well, this monitor isn't just a screen; it's a portal to immersive worlds, dynamic lessons, and collaborative possibilities. Imagine this:
Collaboration bursts into color: Gone are the days of single-screen struggles. This monitor allows us to co-create in real-time, building presentations, solving problems, and brainstorming ideas side-by-side.
The most exciting feature for our students? The sheer size! It's like opening a window to boundless learning. Every detail pops, sparking curiosity and engagement. Students who used to struggle to focus are now captivated, leaning in to absorb the richness of lessons.
Your gift extends beyond specific features. It's a vote of confidence in our students' potential, a message that says, "Your learning matters, and we'll give you the tools to soar." This empowers them, boosts their self-esteem, and fuels a thirst for knowledge.
Seeing students light up as they navigate this new learning landscape is truly heartwarming. Every click and swipe is a testament to your generous investment. Thank you for being partners in education, for illuminating young minds, and for making a world of difference, one pixel at a time.
With heartfelt gratitude,”

Funded Oct 31, 2021We have been able to provide magic and counseling services that have made a maximum impact on our over 900 students! We have been able to do the following:
As the elementary school counselor, I use magic tricks to establish rapport with students and as a reward. Using magic also allows me to help the many students of our school, aligning with our restorative justice practices to illustrate better ways to solve student problems.
Many students come to my office as a reward and learn how to perform magic tricks.
It builds self-esteem and gives them another way to interact with their peers. It allows me as the school counselor to connect with them and problem solve the social-emotional difficulties they experience.
When children learn a new skill such as magic and can perform it for others, they increase their confidence, which excites them about coming to school.
My Project
Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) is part of students' aiming for the right academic target. How we feel, influences student motivation to learn.
Using magic tricks is one of the quickest ways to grab student attention, break negative behavior patterns, and is utilized as a reward for good behavior.”
