My students with special needs often struggle with memorization and processing scientific information. By being able to create their own bright, exciting visuals, they will have the opportunity to create models, graphs and diagrams that help them remember information in a way that makes sense to them. In addition, it will give them the creative outlet they need to stay focused and interested in material that can sometimes be challenging. Many of my students are incredibly talented artists and I believe that linking science and art will work wonders for them!
