Boomwhackers are plastic tubes in varying lengths which each produce a different pitch when hit against the floor or your hand. Boomwhackers will provide the opportunity for students to learn how to read, create, and perform music. Being able to read music is a fundamental skill that students need to actively create music. Creating music is a great way for students to grow socially and emotionally. Performing ties together all of the elements of musicianship and allows students to demonstrate their accumulated knowledge. Our students will be able to collaborate as musicians.
