• Getting Comfy and Cozy

  Classes K-2 are now using these items to improve their fine motor skills. I work with these students on Monday afternoon along with Physical Therapist. We take each student one on one to connect and build. They're able to build strength in their hands and fingers. Students were so excited to see these multicolored objects. The different shapes and sizes that were changeable with their help. We're excited to report many students achieved improvement. Many of our students has reached their IEP goals.”

• Get Up and Move

  Everyone needs to take time for themselves. This is imperative for people of any age. The benefits of exercise helps us maintain a healthy lifestyle. We were happy to receive the " Hopper Bouncy Balls and the "Sunlin Dance Mat". To be able to build a little school team and jumping party. 50 students were able to participate and have fun. Wow! they were excited just to see them smile. We'll continue to find ways to prevent childhood obesity. Moving is a way to develop good habits for kids.💕💕💕”

• Time For Some Action: Make Filmmaking Empowering.

  My first year teaching, I handed students a worksheet that diagrammed the camera and went over the function of each part. Although the students took copious notes, as soon as they had the cameras in their hands, it was like I'd taught them nothing.

  This is because many students learn best by doing. The next time I taught photography basics, I let the students handle the cameras right away. Photography Helps Us Communicate – Photographs help us share our memories with others. They're graduating.”

  Thanks so much, for your contributions to our school P009 Main. This has been a positive impact on our students. Our Performing Arts program has expanded.

• Colors In Motion

  Throughout our holiday season, our students enjoyed connecting with visuals of Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanza. We presented a holiday show for family and friends and P009 organizations virtually. The students and I put together our life size sleigh all donations our tree, lights, backdrops, costumes, chairs for stage readings, wall decorations. Students grades K-8th performed beautifully. Every student was appreciative of every single donation. We're now working with Broadway Junior 🎉 to produce a mini musical " Madagascar " a first and its an amazing feeling. 2022 is shining bright like a diamond 💎”
