As my students move through life and transition into the postsecondary world, they are their most successful selves through the use of specialized support and education in order to achieve their goals. The needs for each student in my program are diverse and specialized. These materials cover the wide variety of learning capabilities that support each of their exceptionalities. My students want to feel successful and like they’re a part of the community, and they deserve the opportunities that are afforded to everyone. As Dr. Temple Grandin famously said: “I am different, not less.”
