With this project and providing snacks, the students will end able to better focus on learning in the classroom because they will not be distracted by their tummy's growling. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs shows that if students have needs unmet that they are not able to focus as quickly or readily on the learning aspect of the classroom setting, so by providing snacks, we are better able to meet some of their physical and emotional needs. Students will have needs met and be better prepared to learn essential life skills. They will also not to be hungry when they go home at the end of the school day.
