Engaging All Learners
Funded Mar 23, 2023The Hover Cam has been an excellent addition to our science classroom. Students are eager to model their work and in turn many students are now actively participating in rich discussions. This camera has enabled peers to step into the role of teacher and directly learn from/ with each other.
This technological device has helped provide visibility to all areas of our room space. Not to mention the convenience of using it on the go, so there is less hassle/ downtime when sharing.
Thank each for you for supporting our learners engagement by contributing towards our document camera.”

Ms. Walker
Science Technology
Funded Nov 23, 2022Thank you for you contributions towards our science learning. Due to your help we're able to have access to much needed technology which pushes students minds and investigations further. These iPads provide engagement, promote curiosity, and help students to digitally simulate various concepts. They also allow students to conduct research and provide them with an abundance of information at their fingertips. The generosity for each of you is greatly appreciated and will serve as a lasting impact.”

This classroom project was brought to life by The Walt Disney Company and 8 other donors.Scientists at Work
Funded Oct 6, 2022Students use the materials to engage in different hands on investigations. They often discuss their hands on experiences with each other and debated their outcomes. This discourse sparked new ideas and even prompted students to write with greater evidence.
When students initially saw the materials there was a buzz of excitement. Many made connections to science concepts we were studying. Such as using the telescope to learn or question further about the constellations or planting seeds in liquids as opposed to soil.
The donations from each of you has allowed students to develop a greater interest in their scientific learning. So to strengthen this engagement we are looking to incorporate more technology.”
