  • Stocking Splendid Supplies

    Funded Oct 27, 2022

The excitement on the faces of my students when we received all of the supplies from this grant was truly priceless. They love using the Easel Sticky Note pages for small group activities. These also provide paper for anchor charts to be hung in my classroom for students to reference during assignments.

Students use all of the resources from this grant daily for independent assignment, partner activities, small group projects, and whole group discussions. The highlighters are used for annotating passages, while the tab dividers are used for Reading, Writing, and Social Studies Journal composition books.

All in all, this project has shown to be a successful project for more than just one class. This project was funded during the last school year, and my students this year are still able to use all of the materials provided. Thank you so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Farmer

  • Teaching Texas Times

    Funded Aug 12, 2022

My students are highly enjoying learning about Texas history. They love reading nonfiction and noting the differences between genres. They love reading about The Alamo. Authentic literature is so important in the classroom, as it widens the creativity, opens up students' mind to different styles of writing, and allows them to connect with important characters in our history.

Thank you so much for your donations, assistance, and helpfulness in education. Teachers couldn't do their jobs without the support of the community!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Farmer

  • Reading Haven

    Funded Oct 5, 2022

My students absolutely love all of the flexible seating options provided by all of your support. Their favorite seating options are the black saucer chair and the green desk seats. They use these every day for partner work. The green desks are great for when students need to move closer to the board and take notes. They are very sturdy and comfortable. The black saucer chairs fit two students and are excellent for paired reading. I love being able to provide all students with differentiated seating options to allow them to be comfortable!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Farmer
