Technology is an integral and non-negotiable part of today's students learning needs. However, due to a lack of funding, our school library has no maker space. I am striving to change that for our students. A maker space area in our library will allow all students to have access to various forms of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. With a specific STEM area in the school library, we are sure we will see an increased interest in STEM-related ideas and potentially STEM careers. STEM education in our school can be used specifically to bridge the gap between culture and ethnicity and the overall lack of STEM-related career paths in underrepresented cultures.

About my class
