Multicultural Oil Pastels for Self Portraits
Funded Sep 19, 2023Thank you for your kind donation and the oil pastels. They were a critical piece of our self-portrait project. The multiracial colors included in the set help the students feel seen in the artwork they want to create. This material helped them develop rich artwork thanks to your donation. The portraits also came out very beautiful, as a result of the success of this project. I am so happy that I received your support and was able to complete the project with the materials to best support my students.”

Support Our Budding Artists!
Funded Sep 3, 2023Thank you so much for your generosity. We use the resources you've helped fund every day! The rug makes a huge impact on the flow of our art class as we begin our lesson having a meeting on the rub before we commence the artmaking!
Additionally, students and teachers find that the rug helps the room feel more comfortable and welcoming. Every time I see the rug you helped donate, it reminds me of all the kindness and support I have received from people like you. Thank you again for your kindness, it means the world to me and the students that the art room is a space for community and creativity.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Bobbio
Help Preserve P53K's Paintings!
Funded Jan 20, 2022Your donation has made a huge impact on improving my classroom environment. For example, the drying rack has been used daily by our students in the art classroom. It has also become a crucial step in the artistic process of painting where once students finish their work, they carefully lay it out to dry on the rack.
The paint and the paper provided by your donations have also brought more purpose to the rack. It has opened opportunities for these students to paint, and explore new mediums.
It means so much knowing that donors like you are advocating for the arts in our public schools. It has made an immeasurable difference in the quality of the student work and everyone's artroom experience.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Bobbio
This classroom project was brought to life by A New York City Parent and one other donor.
